The Centre for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine aims to use a novel, trans-disciplinary approach to spearhead research in two key areas:

Brain and Spinal Cord. The Centre research focuses on neuroscience of central nervous system function, disease mechanisms and approaches to treatment.

The ultimate vision of the Centre is to develop advanced insights, therapeutics, neural interfaces, electrostimulation, stem cell research and regenerative medicine to impact not only basic knowledge of the central nervous system, but also the understanding and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, spinal cord injury, pain management and neuropsychological disorders.
