The National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED) is a national clinical-academic partnership between St Vincent’s Health Australia, UNSW, Curtin University and Flinders University. NCCRED was established in 2018 to address health harms related to methamphetamine and other drugs of emerging concern.
The Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) research team consists of smart, kind, and motivated professionals dedicated to transforming the treatment landscape for alcohol and drug use. In collaboration with NCCRED, the ADS research team aims to not only conduct high-quality research but also to deliver equitable, non-stigmatised healthcare and break down barriers for people who use drugs.
The team’s mission is to challenge stigma and improve patient outcomes through high-quality research and holistic care that addresses the full spectrum of patients’ needs.
