Associate Professor Kathy Wu is an Adult Physician Geneticist and the founding Head of St Vincent's Clinical Genomics, who is affiliated with multiple academic/research institutions, including the UNSW, USYD, UNDA, the George Institute for Global Health, and Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Through her unique role of clinician researcher and educator in genomics, A/Prof. Wu has championed and led several interdisciplinary clinical and research programs, including neurogenomics, cardiac genomics, immunogenomics, and mental health pharmacogenomics, on the Darlinghurst campus and beyond.
A/Prof. Wu is a Chief Investigator on multiple MRFF grants and is committed to conducting meaningful research to change clinical practice, and vice versa, to using her clinical experience to inform impactful research.
